Welcome to Family Engagement for 2024, we are looking forward to a year of communication, connection and engagement.

We look forward to seeing you at our Welcome Picnic on Tuesday 13th February. Hubs are open for a quick visit from 4:30pm and Uncle Daniel will join us at 5pm sharp for a smoking ceremony. The Ceremony will be followed with pancakes provided by the school to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. Families are invited to bring a picnic rug and additional food etc to enjoy while chatting and reconnecting with those in our school community.

We have a few events/dates on the Family Engagement calendar for Term 1

Playgroup begins in Week 2 (8th February), this year playgroup will run at St Gabriel's on Thursdays in the EWP room with Haley.

Please note the time change! Now 9.00 am - 10.00 am.

Parents accompany their children for an hour of play.

It's a wonderful opportunity to meet other families in our local community and school. Playgroup is ideally suited to preschoolers but all children 1-5 years are welcome. Please enter through the school office.

We will also be running 2 Parent Volunteer sessions this term

If you want to volunteer within the school in any capacity i.e. parent helper on excursions, running stalls, helping in the garden etc you will need to attend one of these sessions. You only need to attend this once while your child is at the school.

Session 1 - onsite at St Gabriel’s Thursday February 22nd 10:30-11:30am, come in through the front office

Session 2 - change of date to our online session, now Wednesday 20th March 7pm, Google Meet Code to come.
