Eucalyptus House
We warmly welcome you back to Dandenong High School and Eucalyptus House.
The students and staff have settled into a busy first term. We are focusing on learning routines and emphasising the importance of regular and positive repeated behaviours. Our teachers will continue to differentiate their practice to cater for all learners and we are excited to showcase the learning of all year level groups in the House. There will also be opportunities for students to participate in a range of co-curricular programs and events. The first major whole school event will be the Swimming Carnival later this month. We look forward to seeing our students participate in the spirit of competition.
The Eucalyptus Leadership Team this year includes Ms Katsoulis (House Leader), Ms Cameron (Assistant House Leader), Ms Ratnavelu (Student Engagement Coordinator) and Ms Barton (House Administration Officer). We welcome back the following staff to Eucalyptus house – Ms Mackay, Ms Nguyen, Mr Herd, Mr Kafrouni, Ms Curnow, Ms Sreedharan, Ms Di Mascolo, Mr Gulzari, Mr Christoffelsz, Ms Farahani, Ms Shen, Ms Vengilat, Mr Collins and Mr Singh. We also welcome the following new arrivals to the house - Mr Lam, Mr Yuan, Ms Zhang and Ms Jiang.
It is a tradition of the school to acknowledge the student leaders for the year at a whole school Badges Assembly this term and this will be a special occasion for them. The Eucalyptus House Captains for 2024 are Mahsooma A. and Mahdi R. Congratulations and we hope you enjoy your leadership journey. A number of Eucalyptus students were also successful in attaining leadership positions: School Captain Andy N., School Vice Captain Shivesh P. and SRC President Keely X. We look forward to presenting each of them with their badge at the assembly and wish them a successful and rewarding final year of school.
In this year of making 'Every Minute Count', we are excited to see what awaits us as a community of learners. We look forward to working with you all and to celebrating student successes throughout the year.
