This term we have welcomed many new students into our library. 

We have begun our lunchtime clubs which are open to all students. They are: 

• Monday – Book club
• Tuesday – Teen Learning Advisors
• Wednesday – Writing club
• Thursday – Craft club
• Friday – Chill club (mindful colouring & jigsaws)

Please come along at lunchtime and try something new! 

This week, we have celebrated St. Valentine’s Day with a lovely display and the option of choosing a wrapped book selected by the librarians. We are encouraging students to love their library. 

On Friday 8th March, we will celebrate International Women’s Day. The theme for this year is Inspire Inclusion. "When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world" (IWD 2024). We will celebrate with a lunch time musical performance from a local musical group ‘Vardos’. Please come along for some lively entertainment. 

Lastly, on Wednesday 21st March, we will celebrate Harmony Day with a poetry writing competition. Staff and students can recite their own poetry at a special lunchtime performance.
