CLASS

A warm welcome to parents and families who are new to our College and an equally warm welcome back to those who are continuing their journey with us. We are looking forward to working with you to ensure this year is a most successful one for your child and that they are able to maximise the opportunities they have at the College and reach their potential.

Class Activities

In Wednesday’s Science class, the Year 10 students investigated the relationship between mass and energy by creating small rollercoasters and comparing the results. Students had to repeat time trials, record and graph their results into data tables while analysing the information collected. 

The Year 10 students also attended the Sheep section on Farm this week as part of their Animals class curriculum.

Head of Department (HOD) Class Role

As HOD Class, my role is to undertake the administrative requirements within the Class area. This involves overseeing the delivery and assessment of all programs, monitoring student progress as well as being involved in the management of student behaviour within the Class area. 

Parents and carers are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher directly for information about their progress in a particular subject. If you are not sure who your child’s teacher is or are seeking more general class information, please feel free to contact me.
