Sustainability Club

Sustainability Club Tuesdays 1:45pm - 3pm

Join us for the Sustainability Club every Tuesday from 1:45 pm to 3 pm! Calling all gardening enthusiasts and volunteers – we need your help!

Aasta hosts the Sustainability Club during lunchtime and now dedicates a full sustainability hour each Tuesday. Students actively participate in various sustainability activities, including gardening, plant propagation, planting, harvesting, watering, weeding, nature hunts, data collection, and exciting excursions.

As our gardens grow and sustainability interest flourishes, so does the number of tasks and students participating. We're actively seeking regular parent, family, and community volunteers to support this flourishing club.

If you know someone eager to get their hands dirty for an hour once a week or once a fortnight, please reach out to Aasta through the office, Art room, or via email at aasta.dearnaley@education.vic.gov.au. Your contribution makes a difference and more helpers means more students can join!

All parent volunteers are required to have a free Working With Children Check (WWCC). If you don't have one you can find the details here: https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children
