Sports Update

The Year of Sport

2023 was a very successful year for sport at EMC!

With having over 500 students competing in sport this year, we had a number of outstanding achievements throughout our sport program. We had 63 students compete individually and 23 teams compete at the Regional level. As well as 6 students and 5 teams compete at the State Championships.

A big thank you to our 2023 Year 12 Sport Captains, Eva Anderson and Brodie Carpenter. They have done amazing things for our Sport Program this year with all their passion and commitment throughout this year. Also a thank you to our Year 11 Captains Jemma Reynolds and Sienna Ogier, who will now be the 2024 Year 12 Sport Captains and a congratulations to our new 2024 Year 11 Sport Captains, Caitlyn Guinea and Hannah McIntyre.

Also, a massive thank you to our Sports Co-Ordinator, Thomas Booth, and all the staff members who took time out of their year to help train and coach our teams. Sport could not go ahead without the generous staff we have here at EMC.
