Meet the Leadership Team for 2024

Ms Grace Carlo-Stella

Principal

The Principal plays a vital part in establishing, for families and students, a sense of belonging and partnership with the local Catholic community and with the parish. As a Catholic Leader, the Principal supports the three leadership functions: leadership, teaching, and pastoral care.

As the principal, I pursue excellence in teaching and learning, nurturing students' social and emotional needs and supporting them to develop into confident and resilient individuals. I firmly believe in the important partnership between home, school and community.

Mrs Rochelle Borg

Assistant Principal 

The Assistant Principal is a senior member of the school leadership team. Reporting to the Principal, the Assistant Principal plays a vital role in working closely with the staff to ensure the best pedagogical practice and professional performance and, as such, boosts learning growth across the entire school community. 

Mrs Nancy Kubti

Religious Education Coordinator & Stage 2 (Years 3 & 4) leader

The Religious Education Coordinator (REC) is a senior member of the school’s leadership team. Reporting to the Principal and, as such, is co-responsible for the mission of the Church in evangelisation and catechesis within an educational context. The REC plays a key role in establishing a sense of belonging for school students and families in the local Catholic community and parish. 

As a stage 2 leader, Mrs Kubti oversees the curriculum, ensures the student's needs are met and is Year Three and Four parents point of contact after the class teacher. The class teacher is the first point of contact.

Coordinator Positions

These positions are Middle Leaders and report to the principal. They are part of the leadership team and, as such, play a vital role in ensuring the implementation of a range of improvement strategies to ensure continual improvement and strengthen a culture of high expectations centred on the needs of all students. 

Mrs Sue Yanz

Instructional Leader K - Year 2

Mrs Yanz works closely with all the teachers in Kindergarten to Year Two. She also works with groups of students offering support in these classes.

Mrs Francine Attard

Coordinator - Jigsaw Pedagogy, Mathematics, Years 3 - 6

Mrs Attard works closely with the teachers in Years Three to Six to ensure the implementation of strategies. 

Mrs Melina James                             

Coordinator - Wellbeing & Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten) leader                                                     

Mrs James is the Kindergarten's parents' point of contact after the class teacher. The class teacher is the first point of contact.

Mrs Diane Antonucci 

Coordinator - English  & Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) leader

Mrs Antonucci is the Year One and Year Two parent's point of contact after the class teacher. The class teacher is the first point of contact.

Mr Daniel Maunick 

Coordinator - Information Technology  & stage 3 (years 5 & 6) leader

Mr Maunick is the Year Five and Year Six parent's point of contact after the class teacher. The class teacher is the first point of contact.
