Principal's News

Dear Families,

In this abridged newsletter, I would like to welcome you all to the 2024 school year. I know that myself and all the staff have been impressed with how well the students have all settled back into the rhythm of school life and our Preps have had an amazing start. I would like to particularly welcome any new families that have joined us this year, you have joined a school community that I couldn’t be prouder of.

There are a few events next week that I would like to draw your attention to, Tuesday 6th February is our Beginning of School Mass and all families are welcome to attend. Once we have done the morning roll the students will make their way to the Church with the mass starting just after 9 am. Thursday 8th is an opportunity to book in for the Parent-Teacher information-sharing session, all families are encouraged to book a time with the class teacher as an opportunity to meet with them and share information about your child. If you haven’t already please use this link to book a time https://www.schoolinterviews.com.au/code/6z3c5

A BIG thank you to the mums that helped by bringing food, serving and cleaning up at the morning tea on Wednesday. From what I have heard it was a huge success and a great opportunity to meet other parents. For those parents that dropped in food the platters are ready for collection in the hall kitchen.

Next week we will have a full newsletter as well as individual class newsletters and a video from each class teacher introducing themselves and sharing key information about their class routines and procedures.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Martin Earl

(Acting Principal)
