Our second Me You Us Day was a wonderful opportunity for students across the Middle School to connect, learn and grow through a range of purposeful and engaging experiences.

A special thank you is extended to The Centre Self Collective, who dedicated their time and energy to deliver art therapy workshops for our Year 8 students. These creative sessions provided a safe space for reflection and self-expression, fostering both confidence and self-awareness.

We also acknowledge our valued partnership with Together for Humanity, who worked with Year 6 students. Their workshops enriched students’ understanding of immigration, diversity and race, encouraging empathy, respect, and a deeper appreciation of inclusion within our community.

For Year 7, the Joy Olympics created a vibrant atmosphere of teamwork and positivity. The interactive challenges were both fun and meaningful, reminding students of the power of joy, connection and resilience in learning and life.

Our Year 5 students took part in dance and positive coping sessions and worked also with the Centre Self Collective, using movement as a creative and practical way to explore strategies for managing challenges while building confidence.

Finally, we thank Elephant Education for their engaging and age-appropriate sessions around growing, development and puberty. These workshops provided students with important knowledge to support them during this significant stage of their lives.

Beyond the workshops, students and staff came together through a variety of lunchtime activities designed to strengthen connection and celebrate community. These included a friendship bracelet station, staff vs student Netball and Basketball matches, student music performances, and even a bike and blend activity for staff. Each activity reflected key elements of our Me You Us day, celebrating strengths, fostering relationships, and encouraging wellbeing through fun, movement, and creativity.

The success of Me You Us Day is a testament to the generosity of our partners, the dedication of our staff, and the enthusiastic participation of our students. Together, we continue to create a culture where connection, resilience and joy are nurtured and celebrated.
