It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the final term of 2025! This year has been filled with rich learning experiences and special moments, some of which took place in the final week of Term 3. Gratitude Day gave our Junior School community the opportunity to pause and reflect on what we are thankful for and we wrapped up Term 3 with Footy Day, where the Canowindra Campus transformed into a sea of colour and team pride. At lunchtime, Year 9 students led AFL activities for Junior School students, strengthening connections across year levels. These shared experiences have brought great joy, deepened friendships, and strengthened our sense of community.
As we move into Term 4, our focus turns to finalising learning goals, assessments, transition, and key school events, while also beginning preparations for the year ahead. Class placements for 2026 will soon begin, taking into account each child’s needs, learning style, and class dynamics. We recognise the importance of friendships during these formative years, and the importance of encouraging children to broaden their social circles, build resilience, and experience a genuine sense of belonging.
This term promises to be both busy and exciting, with many highlights ahead, including excursions, camps, Celebration of Learning, transition programs, Junior School Carols, and our final assembly. Details will continue to be shared in Making Connections each week.
We look forward to another inspiring term together in the Junior School, one filled with learning, laughter, and connection.
