Farewell, SRC Members 2025!
The SRC team gathered one last time to celebrate their hard work and achievements throughout the year. They organised and participated in many events, including Clean Up Australia Day, the A Month of Mindfulness Project, the MND Big Freeze, Footy Dress Day, the school musical, Athletics, and speeches at school assemblies, to name a few. Every one of them has demonstrated leadership, integrity, and teamwork. Well done and good luck for all your future endeavours!
Handing Over the Baton!
College Captains 2025 – Makayla Fleiner, Keely Milner, Abbey Warde, and Amelia Allan shared information and tips with the newly elected College Captains for 2026 - Tom Francis, Brady Symons, Amber Gibb, and Mylee Turner over an informal lunch.
Reading and Writing Competition
Students wrote book reviews and submitted them online. This initiative by Skye Williams, Tonia Hast, and Betty Grant, saw students borrow more books from the library and engage with reading. A notable mention goes to Kelyse Catlin for submitting six entries.
Students submitted their stories to VATE for the ‘A Story in Miniature’ competition. Jackie-Anne Angus and Rohan Gallagher deserve a special mention for their descriptive writing.
Year 10 HAP English Excursion to the State Library Victoria
This intensive workshop on November 6th will introduce students to practical research tools and strategies to help them succeed in senior secondary school and beyond.
Aboriginal Artefact Incursion
The Wellbeing department is promoting community connection by bringing Aboriginal Artefact display to our school. Humanities teachers will be bringing their classes to engage with Aboriginal history and activities.
