Year 8 Students Explore Their Future in the Curious Careers Workshop

Our Year 8 students recently participated in an engaging Curious Careers workshop, designed to inspire them to consider their future pathways and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

The workshop encouraged students to explore the connection between education, personal interests, and potential career choices. Through interactive activities and guided discussions, students reflected on how their learning today helps shape their future success — both in further education and in the workplace.

This experience supported our school values of Connection, Respect, and Growth. Students connected with their peers through meaningful conversations, showed respect by listening to different perspectives, and demonstrated growth by considering how their strengths and passions can guide their future goals.

The Curious Careers session empowered students to see how curiosity, effort, and a positive attitude towards learning can open doors to exciting futures. It was wonderful to see our Year 8 cohort engaged, motivated, and beginning to shape their vision for life beyond school.
