Head of Boarding

The past two weeks have been busy and productive across the day school and in the Boarding House. There has been a focus from Boarding House staff on supporting the productive use of Prep time and encouraging students to make effective use of their Tutors. Many of our staff are also able to support students with their academic work and are very happy to assist in any way possible. 

Volunteers for the Boarding Advisory Team (BAT) were called for by our Heads of Boarding. The following students will represent their year group for the next twelve months. The team will work under the leadership of our 2024/25 Heads of Boarding, Ava Purvis and Hilary Guilfoyle and the Year 10 Senior Leaders, Rachel Tong and Jackie Howe.

Year 7: Charlotte Croker, Sonia Wong and Isabelle Lo

Year 8: Ellie Lai, Jacqueline Shih and Abby Zheng

Year 9: Eva Heckendorf and Zara Gill

Year 10: Lilli Bartlett and Charlotte Steibert 

Year 11: Taylor Hammond

Year 12: Audrey Gill and Kailani Bartlett

It is great that we have so many keen participants and that our current Year 12’s will help support the team until the end of the year. 

Information has been distributed for our Community Weekend from Friday 6 September- Sunday 8 September 2024. There will be a variety of events held over that weekend designed to promote our Boarding community and strengthen our relationships. I am looking forward to spending time with the families of our Boarders and making connections with the girls over the weekend.
