Prep Buddies Update

After a smooth start to Term 3, the buddies were eager to catch up again and reconnect. During Term 2 as part of the Resilience, Rights & Respectful Relationships Wellbeing lessons,  the Grade 4s each created a small book about how to seek help. This buddy session, the Grade 4 students shared their books with their buddy. After a thoughtful discussion about the ways we can ask for help in different scenarios, they started to create their own storyboard to share other ways to seek help when needed.

To conclude the session, we enjoyed a picnic by eating our lunch on the grass outside the cricket nets.

It has been great to hear positive feedback from the students about how much they’re enjoying the Buddies Program and watching as new friendships flourish.
