Franki-Rose V - 3B

This term Franki has shown she is a curious learner as she displays a strong desire to explore, question and wonder. During learning tasks she will ask clarifying questions, show an interest in different perspectives and seek out new information. At ¾ camp Franki eagerly explored her surroundings, was open- minded when faced with new challenges and took risks. She encouraged her team to work together and was adaptable when things didn’t go as planned. Her sense of adventure and ‘give it a go’ attitude was inspiring to see. Stay curious Franki! 

 

Marlo H - 4A

Marlo engaged fully with every experience on offer at this year’s camp. He asked thoughtful and considered questions, participated with enthusiasm and supported his peers to challenge themselves during activities. He even managed to stay enthusiastic when falling flat into the mud in his favourite Carlton top. You really stepped up and showed your ability to be a leader on this camp. Congratulations and keep up the good work Marlo.

Responsibility

Tommy D - 3/4A

Tommy D. has been an enthusiastic and hard-working student for the entire year, however it is his responsible nature that has been most impressive this term. He has been proactive in his reading, writing and numeracy, taking a mature attitude to his learning and as a result made outstanding progress. He has fostered new friendships in different classes and year groups because of his kindness. This reflects on his strong moral compass. Well done Tommy, you should be very proud of yourself.

 

Claudia E - 3/4A

Claudia has had a fantastic term and a wonderful year. Her work ethic and dedication to her studies is admirable and is the major reason for her academic progress. Claudia’s homework is always exemplary, she reads passionately and has a very mature attitude to her schooling. Congratulations on winning the Year 4 Responsibility Award.

Excellence in English

Charlie C - 3A

Charlie C has shown incredible persistence and effort in improving both his reading and writing this year. He’s put a lot of hard work into his writing, especially focusing on his handwriting and using punctuation correctly. The quality of his work consistently reflects the effort he puts into each task. Charlie has also been working on his reading skills, showing great progress in selecting books that engage him that have helped build his reading stamina.

 

Awesome job Charlie, I’m excited to see your continued growth this year.

 

Charlie F - 4B

Charlie has worked incredibly hard in all areas of his writing, reading and spelling. He is constantly asking questions and clarifying with great enthusiasm. Charlie has been focusing so hard on slowing down, proof reading his work and checking his spelling in the dictionary. He has shown an especially great interest in his information report on Orangutans, presenting to the other students on the deck with so much energy and passion he had a consistent group around his table wanting to learn more. Congratulations Charlie, you should be so proud of yourself and your efforts in English this Term. 

Excellence in Maths

Fraser M - 3/4A

Fraser has made fantastic progress in Term 3 in Mathematics. He loves being challenged and has worked hard to learn and apply new strategies to solve problems, particularly in multiplication and division. Fraser should be very proud of the progress he has made, his attitude to the subject has been first class. Well done Fraser.

 

Harriet H - 4B

Harriet has had such an amazing growth mindset for her mathematical learning. She has persevered no matter how hard the task, asked intelligent questions and worked well both individually and with others to solve real world multiplication and division problems. Harriet has shown great depth with her understanding and should be so proud of her efforts. She is a model student who has excelled with her mathematical thinking this Term. Congratulations Harriet this award is so well deserved.
