Strathfield Council is pleased to invite the students, staff, parents, and carers of our school community to participate in the 2024 Strathfield Active Travel Survey.

The transport planning team at Strathfield Council is focused on engaging and collaborating with community members to build meaningful base evidence to inform the development of new pedestrian and cycle links within the Strathfield Local Government Area. 

Bike riding is a great way to travel efficiently and sustainably for short distances, promote exercise, build confidence, and develop essential motor skills. By creating better access to safe active travel facilities for our community, Councils can help young community members to build greater independence and ability to move between places of interest (schools, parks, home, shops) while relying less on parents, carers or motor vehicles. 

The survey will run until Friday 13 September 2024, and all participants have the chance to win a $100 gift voucher. Attached is a brief information pack for the online survey and a link to Council’s Have Your Say page which can be found here: Have your Say.
