PLC 5 newsletter piece Week 5 Term 3

Over the past few weeks, PLC 5 has been working incredibly hard on concert practise in preparation for our live performances next week. 

In the background, there has been a heap of organisation going on in planning for camp in week 7. Please keep an eye out on compass for any reminders that contain important information that allows your child to experience camp with ease. Please ask your classroom teacher about any queries you may have and we will be happy to help out. 

On the academic front, with the closure of the Olympics comes the conclusion of some tremendous month-long Writing. The effort and focus to enhance, improve and boost the quality of each piece has been outstanding and the students should be incredibly proud of their efforts. 

In similar fashion, within Numeracy, we have seen our experts shine and past knowledge brought out to assist in some new concepts that have challenged the students to embrace a growth mindset with the assistance of the ‘Learning Pit’ concept. 

Just another reminder to please make sure that Compass is being regularly checked for updates regarding upcoming events and please continue to champion students’ Home Reading.
