Concert news and Information

Concert is almost upon us and students are certainly getting excited to show you all they have been practising! Please read the key information below to ensure that you are ready and raring to go for the big event.

 

Ticketing

As you would be aware, tickets for the Concert are now available for purchase from the following link.

We are so excited that our night shows are almost sold out! However, we have plenty of seats to our Matinee performance at only $15 per seat. 

 

Concert Photos 

A big thank you to all the students and staff who helped these 2 days run smoothly. I saw so many amazing costumes and I'm sure the photos are going to look outstanding! 

Remember if your child was away on this day we will be catching up their individual photos during dress rehearsal on the 19th and the 21st of August during the Matinee show. 

If you haven't already please take the time to read the information posted on compass and register your child for Concert photos.

 

Important reminders

To ensure that our concert runs as smoothly as possible we ask that you please follow the below recommendations.

  • All clothes students are wearing to the theatre need to be named (school uniform and clothing students will be wearing to the Wednesday night show).
  • A final reminder that any student that requires medication to be administered for any of the shows are to have completed a medical form before Wednesday the 14th of August (available from the office). Then medication and the medical form will need to be in a sealed ziplock bag and be dropped into the office. Please ensure that the time and dosage is clearly labeled.

 

Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th 

Please ensure that students arrive at school on time to give them plenty of time to prepare for the Dress Rehearsal and ensure that they do not miss a morning bus to the Tech Rehearsal.

 

Wednesday 21st 

We understand that there is a short time frame between students finishing school and when they are required at the theatre, but we ask in this time that you ensure students have had dinner and pack a snack in a named zip lock bag, as well as a named drink bottle for the theatre. 

 

Thursday 22nd of August 

After a big day and night on Wednesday the 21st we understand that students will be quite tired. We wish to advise you that school is open as usual on Thursday the 22nd of August for those that would like to send students for the entire day, however we are happy for this to be a flexible start, allowing students the sleep in or a more relaxed morning. In saying this, we do ask that students are all at school before lunch time to prepare for the night show. A reminder that students will remain at school after their normal dismissal time. In the afternoon from 3.30pm, students will be served a hot dog for dinner. If your child has any special dietary requirements or does not like hot dogs please ensure that students have a packed dinner to consume at this time. We also suggest sending students with additional snacks for the extended day to ensure that students have plenty of food and water to keep them going until the end of the concert. 

 

Also a reminder that students are expected to remain with their class for the remainder of each concert performance and will be dismissed at the designated pick up time below.
