Art News
Our students have continued to work really enthusiastically on their current art pieces. We are so proud of the determination, persistence and of course creativity that they are demonstrating. It has been wonderful to hear them share tips with each other, as they support one another in completing their artworks.
The junior students are continuing to develop their fine motor skills and have been busy painting, drawing, cutting, and glueing to create their ladybirds in the grass artworks. The joy on their faces as their efforts combine to create such a beautiful piece, has been delightful to see!
Our Grade 2s have been busy using folding techniques and basic shapes to assist them in creating symmetrical artwork. They then used oil pastels to complete their designs.
The Grade 3 and 4 students have created some spectacular treehouses and provided us with an insight into their dream spaces. With a focus on lines and blending colours, the Grade 3 and 4 students have absolutely captivated us with their incredible designs.
Our Grade 5 and 6 students have continued to carefully create their half sketch/half photo portraits. We are extremely proud of the focus and skills they have demonstrated throughout this learning task and have been thrilled to hear them verbalise the satisfaction and sense of pride, they have experienced.
Thank you to all of our students who have been working so hard to be their best selves, we think that you are amazing!
Take care,
Miss Peldys and Mrs S
