Principal's Message
Term 3 - Week 6
The 3/4 students have enjoyed working with our Artist in Residence: Sam Richards.
"We have been making our own designs using local Wurundjeri symbols and then turning them into paintings. I am looking forward to learning lots of Aboriginal culture and the Woi Wurrung language thanks to Sam" - Marley N 3/4B
Our Foundation enrolments are still open for 2025, if you haven't already completed an enrolment form please contact the Administration team.
Our planning for 2025 is well under way and a major part of this planning relies on student numbers and knowing who will be returning to MPRPS for the 2025 school year. Please notify our Administration team if your intentions are not to return in 2025.
What a wonderful morning celebrating that 'Reading is Magic' at our Book Week Parade this morning. Thank you to all families for your support in preparing costumes - the creativity was very impressive! It was also fantastic to see so many families at the Parade and then staying to enjoy a coffee with the P&F. Congratulations to our SRC Presidents, Ava and Saumya and School Captains, Oscar and Wendy for their leadership and organisation of the event.

Although it’s been a busy start to the term, with the Water Safety Program and 5/6 Camp, students were very engaged and worked hard on their challenges, demonstrating teamwork and perseverance!
It is with great pleasure that we announce that The Arts group placed first in their category and will progress to the state level, competing at La Trobe University.
A huge thank you to Kathy W, Ros W, Nick D, Sam K, Katrina C and Beth C (MPRPS Staff) who were ToM team facilitators and to families who attended performances and facilitated practices outside of school time. We are so grateful for your support!
