Congratulations to the following classes who have won the Weekly Attendance awards:

• Grade 1/2C in Term 2 Week 3
• Prep D in Term 2 Week 4
• Grade 1/2D in Term 2 Week 5

A special congratulations to Tyson Polanski who was our Golden Ticket Winner for Term 2 Weeks 3 and 4. Tyson chose the Sport Pack which included a magnetic dartboard, mini basketball ring and ball and a table top soccer game. 

Well done to families and students getting to school on time at 8:50am and before 9:00am. We have noticed a pattern of some students that are chronically late. Just a reminder that if students come to school before 9:00am everyday, your child is eligible to win the $100 Golden Ticket prize each fortnight.

Fact: did you know that 15 minutes late adds up to 1¼ hours over a week. This equates to 2 days of absence a term! That further equates to 8 school days in a year. Over 12 years of schooling, it would equate to missing ½ a year of learning!

It’s amazing how just 15 minutes late, can impact your child’s learning over a long-term period! It’s food for thought. 🧐😉(special mention to Mr Proctor for the facts)
