Principal's Report
Uniform
As we embrace the Winter season, we want to ensure all our students are warm and comfortable. We kindly remind every one of the importance of wearing appropriate clothing for the cold weather. Lately, we have noticed some students arriving in shorts and t-shirts, which are not suitable for this time of year. To stay warm throughout the day, students should come to school wearing at least a warm jumper or jacket and preferably long pants.
Our classrooms are kept warm, but proper Winter clothing is essential for outdoor activities. If your child has misplaced their jacket or any other item, please check the lost property. We have many unclaimed items waiting to be retrieved. Additionally, when purchasing new clothing, please ensure it is labelled with your child's name to prevent loss.
We also have a school beanie available for purchase to help keep students' heads warm. These beanies are a great addition to the school uniform and perfect for the colder weather.
Furthermore, we would like to remind everyone that sports tops and football/soccer club jumpers are not part of the Macedon Primary uniform. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that all students adhere to the school’s uniform by wearing the appropriate Macedon Primary attire. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our students warm and properly dressed for school.
Crossing Use
To ensure student safety and prevent crossings in unsupervised areas, we have permanently locked the gate near the portable. We kindly ask all families to use the school crossings on Smith and Carrington Street for entering and exiting the school premises. Additionally, we request that parents do not climb the gate to exit. Your cooperation in using these designated crossings sets a good example for our students. Thank you for your support.
