Principal's Report
Dear Parents and Carers,
Last Thursday and Friday we held our annual staff conference at Cape Schanck. It was a great time away with staff, with many opportunities for professional development and team building activities.
We began the first day with a Faith development activity with Fr Elio Capra which focused on 3 questions:
- What makes a Catholic School Catholic
- The Centrality of Jesus Christ and the role of the Scriptures
- The Role of the Church, Prayer and Sacraments, Service and Mission
There was a lot of interesting discussion based around these important focus points.
We also participated in a Corporate Survivor Challenge, professional development in Emergency Management and finished off with some Mindfulness Art and Wellbeing discussions. I would like to thank all staff for their generous time and participation in these very important activities.
Condolences
Our deepest condolences go to the Connell-Calarco Family on the sudden passing of Simon last week. Our prayers are with the family during this very difficult time. There are ways to assist the family listed in the P & F Section of this newsletter, and ways to assist your own child in the wellbeing section if they have questions that they might be struggling with. Funeral details will be shared via Audiri once they have been finalised.

I present the following information that the the SRC have been working through the past few weeks.
Red House - Tara (Cauldron and the Fire)

We have also presented this information to our Prep - Year 5 SRC Captains who have shared with their classes today.
