A world of STEM

STEM at UTS

As part of our continuing partnership with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), some of our students were able to visit the university and learn about all things STEM. Students were taken on a private tour of the university facilities, visiting lecture theatres, tutorial spaces, science laboratories and the state-of-the-art green screen room (pictured below).

Students got to hear from head lecturers, engineers, scientists and scientific research experts from a range of STEM disciplines. They also got to experience a range of practical activities involving science, mathematics, engineering and technology and were able to experiment with robotic arms and look at a range of scientific and engineering equipment.

Thanks to Mr Miller for his organisation of this excursion and thanks to Mrs Mudaliar for accompanying Mr Miller and the students on the day.
