Principal's Message

A Fantastic Start to the Year!

As we settle into the new school year, I want to take a moment to congratulate our wonderful young people on a fantastic start! From the very first day, it has been inspiring to see such enthusiasm and curiosity for learning. And now, in Week 6, I am seeing this in the joy-filled faces of our young people as they collaboratively strategise in their arcade game creation in Science!

Beyond academics, I am especially proud of the way our young people are caring for their learning environment—respecting shared spaces, looking after resources, and ensuring our school remains a welcoming place for all. Our Year 6 Leaders are fantastic leaders in modelling how we participate in and share our communal spaces. Across all Stages, our young people continue to show kindness, empathy, and respect for one another, proving that being a good human is just as important as being a great learner. Such compassion and care was so evident as we farewelled Fr Joseph from our community.

Our skilled helpful adults are a team whose passion for education shines through every day. Their commitment to meeting the needs of every young person in their classrooms ensures that every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to rise. Their hard work and care make all the difference in nurturing the vibrant, joy-filled learning community of St Joseph’s.

Thank you to our whole learning community for fostering such a positive start to the year. I look forward to all the growth, learning, and achievements ahead.
