🛌🏻Cebula Boarding

Boarding News
Dear Boarding Parents and Guardians,
The Cebula community is in the midst of celebrating our second place finish in the House Swimming Carnival held this week. The boys showcased some excellent performances, with several swimming in numerous events to maximise house points. Their dedication, spirit and camaraderie were on full display as records were broken, as they cheered each other on and celebrated every achievement. It was inspiring to see such teamwork and enthusiasm in action! A big shout out to all the boys for making this event so successful and thank you to those parents who were able to attend to support the House.
The Year 7s enjoyed a few days with their cohort at the Swan Valley Adventure Camp last week where they took part in a range of activities designed to foster new friendships and skills. They all had a great time and came back full of stories to share. Thank you to the Year 11 Peer Support leaders who assisted the boys on the camp.
It was a pleasure this week to accompany some of the Year 9 boys to their Rite Journey Calling and Departure Ceremony at Lesmurdie Falls. I look forward to following the boys' progress throughout the year and know that they will undoubtedly benefit greatly from the program as they navigate their path into young adulthood.
The first four weeks of term have been busy to say the least, and I know that for many of the boys the Boarders’ long weekend is perfectly timed to give them some time to relax with family and friends. I wish all the boys a restful break and congratulate them on a fine four weeks.
