News and Information from Primary
At the beginning of 2025, the entire Primary DCS Staff Team participated in a full day of intensive training to introduce a new program called PeaceWise. Over the next few weeks, our Primary Team will launch the PeaceWiseKids program, and we are very excited about the positive impact it will bring.
PeaceWiseKids is a Christian program that will be implemented across all year levels in Primary at DCS. This program offers a structured curriculum designed to equip students with tools and strategies for handling challenging relationships and conflicts in healthy, constructive, and life-changing ways.
The program aims to empower children to take more responsibility for their own relationships, build resilience, and gain essential life skills that will benefit them from childhood through adulthood. There are four course levels, each teaching biblical skills and principles using age-appropriate language and examples.
More information about PeaceWiseKids will be communicated through Schoolbox to families, facilitating ongoing conversations at home.
