Mandarin

In the Mandarin class, Foundation students learned about the Chinese New Year and Chinese zodiacs. They also made paper lanterns to celebrate the Chinese New Year and the Lantern Festival. 

Visual Arts

In Visual Art, Year 1 and 2 students have been learning about colour mixing. They overlapped red, yellow and blue cellophane to make orange, purple and green.

Performing Arts

In Performing Arts, the Year 3 students arranged a rhythmic composition in pairs using crotchets, quavers and rests. They performed them on instruments of their choice. 

Physical Education

In Physical Education, Year 5 and 6 students have been taking part in the Beep Test. In this test, students run back and forth between two lines spaced 20 meters apart, trying to reach each line in sync with a series of audio bleeps. This pre-test marks the beginning of our upcoming Cross Country season.
