Junior School

The Prep students were so excited to receive their Buddy Bears at assembly on Monday 17th March. Each of the Grade 5 students spoke about a character trait that they love about their Prep buddy and then presented them with their very own bear. 

Weeden Heights is very honoured to be a part of the Buddy Bear Program which is sponsored by the Allanah & Madeline Foundation - seeking to promote awareness that all children and young people should be able to live a happy and safe life, free from violence and trauma.

We run a lovely Buddy Program at our school and we want to empower all students (no matter their age) to be strong, brave and advocate for themselves!
