Dear Parents/Guardians,
Harmony Week - dress up day
This week is Harmony week and it is all about celebrating inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians, from the traditional custodians of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world.
We will be recognizing Harmony week on Friday, by offering students the opportunity to wear 'a touch of orange' (traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect), orwear traditional dress from their home country. We will also run activities in the classroom and all come together as a whole school at 1pm for food tasting at no cost and minor games. Please let your child's teacher or the office know if you do not want your child to take part in the food tastings. Sno cones selling for $3. Students will still need to bring their own lunch on this day).
