Year 3 - News

This Term, the Year 3s have been reading Roald Dahl’s novel Matilda. After each reading session, we explore new and unfamiliar vocabulary from the book and examine the different character descriptions. While we usually write in our books during writing lessons, we decided to make this activity more engaging by incorporating typing and digital skills.  For this task, each student selected a character from Matilda and used four new descriptive words they learned this Term, two about the character’s appearance and two about their personality. Alongside their descriptions, they also created an illustration of their chosen character. Here are their wonderful responses!
