FINISHING DATE FOR YEAR 9 TRADE:
Charlton Year 9's will finish at the NCTTC on Friday 6 December. The following Friday, the 13th of December, will be a pupil free day for the Year 9 students. Year 9 students will not be expected at the College on the Friday. Should students attend the College, an alternative program will be designed for them.
Year 8 students enjoying some delicious snacks at the Rex while watching the films they've worked hard on this term, on the big screen! Students studied cinematography and composition of creative texts in English this term. They then had the opportunity to put it all into practice and develop a short film of their own!
Our Year 9's were off and away early Monday morning, arriving at Saunders Landing around 11am. By they end of today the students would have canoed 43.5km! We look forward to their return.
Hats and drink bottles: With this warm, humid weather, it is especially important that students continue to bring their drinks bottles and hats to school.
Ready to Learn: Many students are arriving to classes with flat computers. Students are to charge their computers of an evening to ensure they are fully charged and ready to go for the following day.
High expectations: With our Year 9 out for the week on camp, and the Year 10 to 12s finished up, it is essential we maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning. Students modelling the College's values, Respect, Resilience and Responsibility will continue to receive tokens as recognition of these attitudes and behaviours, which will take them closer to winning the prize for SWPBS at the end of the term!
