From The Team

We hope everyone is having a wonderful week! We can’t believe how fast this year, and term, is going. It is a very busy time of year where we have lots of fun activities and tasks planned.

We have enjoyed decorating biscuits in our 1/2 Clubs. Each child was able to decorate two biscuits last week with icing and some lollies. It was a great way to end the week.

Last Monday, the students also had the opportunity to go to the Arcade Games Day held by the Year 5/6 students. We all had a fantastic time playing the games they had made. They were very impressive!

This week in Maths we have been looking at flips, slides, turns (shapes), and symmetry. We had the opportunity to make some butterflies with paint patterns. The symmetry we found was very beautiful and fun to make.

We are also looking forward to a super fun afternoon at the Colour Run today! We are sure that everyone will have a great time while also raising money to help save the turtles and their habitat in the Great Barrier Reef.

It is an exciting time of year as we get ready for the end-of-year festivities. Please stay safe, and we hope your child enjoys their final weeks of school for the year. It’s nice to reflect on all the wonderful things they have achieved this year.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend.

- Kellie Symons, Kate Fox and Hannah Flintoff
