The Foundation students were very excited to participate in the 5/6 Arcade Games Expo. They played Claw Machine, Ski Ball, Whack-a-Monkey and Chomp Time, just to name a few. I have been teaching the students some hand-clapping games, which they have really enjoyed, so maybe you could ask them to show you at home.
Our silk moths have emerged from their silk cocoons and have already started laying eggs so the cycle can start again!
Also, just a couple of reminders as we head into the warmer months. Could all students please remember to bring a hat in to school to protect them from the sun, a water bottle to keep hydrated, and a fruit or vegetable snack for brain food.
I have been very busy moving into my new house over the last week and am excited that the long build is finally over!
We’re looking forward to a fantastic fortnight ahead!

Make a Nature Treasure Hunt
Draw a simple map of your backyard and make a fun little dotted line or course with clues and riddles that lead to a ‘treasure’. The treasure can be simple (a popsicle, a small pack of stickers, new crayons, etc.) or could also represent a special location. For instance, “X marks the spot” could be the area where you’ll have a picnic together.
