College News

A message from Gloucester Park

Families visiting Trinity College for Saturday PSA fixtures (or other purposes) are reminded that Gloucester Park is not available as a public parking option.

On Saturday mornings, horses and their teams are on-site at Gloucester Park for training purposes, meaning non-racing vehicles must not park on the GP grounds; this is for the safety of the horses, GP staff, and all members of the public. This is particularly in relation to GP Gate 8, at the corner of Braithwaite Street and Sailani Avenue.

From time to time, the College formally arranges special parking at Gloucester Park for particular events (e.g. this weekend's Rowing Regatta). In these situations, the College advises relevant groups/attendees about the parking arrangements, including carpark departure times.

If you park your vehicle in Gloucester Park on Saturday mornings, you are at risk of your vehicle being locked in, and would be directly responsible for organising for your vehicle to be released (potentially at a personal fee). Therefore, please do not park at Gloucester Park unless you have received specific communications from TC advising you may do so.
