A huge thank you to Bendigo Bank in Pinewood who have let us know that we were successful in our grant application. We have received $15,000 which we gives us enough money, combined with our school fundraising efforts, and the donation from the Lions Club of Wheelers Hill, to finally re-plumb the water tanks around the school so that they are connected to the toilets. This will save our school a huge amount of money but also reduce our water wastage.
A special thanks to Louise Gracey (mum of Emma in 6JS) who advocated for us and helped us in getting the grant.
Another special thanks to Sam Koutsampasis (dad of Natalie in 5AR) who is the President of the Lions Club of Wheelers Hill. Sam has always been a big supporter of our school and has partnered with us on numerous occasions.
Also, a big thanks to Nicole and Harry (parents of Fiona in 3EB) who supported us in successfully obtaining a grant of $1,000 from Good2Give - REA Group Employee Nominated Grants Program.
Finally, a thank you to Ms Liu who has worked tirelessly all year in applying for grants alongside her teaching of PLL. As you can see from above it has been a very successful this year. Thanks Lin!
Our Sustainability reach and impact is being supported by many members of our wider school community. We thank them immensely for their support.
Semester two reports will be made available to parents through the Compass portal on Wednesday morning.
To access the reports please log onto Compass. School reports stay on Compass for as long as your child is enrolled at Wheelers Hill Primary.
A reminder to Year 6 parents and parents of any child leaving at the end of 2024, you need to make sure you have downloaded and saved your reports as you won’t be able to access these once your child has left the school.
