PE Buzz
This term in PE, students have been focusing on striking & fielding sports like Cricket, T-ball, and Rounders, as well as net/wall sports like Badminton and Tennis/Bat Tennis. They’ve been learning how to perform one- and two-handed strikes using different types of equipment while also improving their throwing and catching skills.
Senior students have been working on offensive and defensive strategies, including field placement and hitting techniques, to take their gameplay to the next level. A highlight for our Year 5 and 6 students is the ongoing badminton tournament, where excitement is building as we prepare to crown the best boy and girl teams in the coming weeks!
Year 3 and 4 students have displayed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship while participating in games like kickball and rounders. It’s clear that BEPS will have some very competitive inter school sports teams in the years to come!
Meanwhile, junior students have been developing their skills through striking stations, where they’ve been introduced to a variety of sports and their equipment. The improvement in their technique and confidence over the term has been incredible to watch.
It’s been fantastic to see the students’ enthusiasm, skill development and teamwork in action this term. Stay tuned for the results of our badminton champions!
