Assistant Principal
Year 11 & 12
This term our Year 12s took on the considerable task of preparing for their VCAA exams. It has been impressive to witness the dedication our students have shown as they balanced exam preparation with the natural pressures of concluding their high school years. We commend every Year 12 student for their efforts, and their dedication to achieving their personal best. These exams mark the close of a significant chapter and the start of new journeys, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of our Year 12 students.
Having worked hard to prepare for exams they now wait anxiously for their results due to be releases on the 12 th December. We wish this fine group of young adults all the very best of luck in their next challenge and for their future endeavours. Congratulations to the class of 2024.
The Year 12 Graduation is to be held on the 16th of December at Ferraro Receptions and will be a night to celebrate friendships and wonderful achievements. It is a moment to appreciate the efforts and commitment our students have shown, and to acknowledge the support that families, friends, and teachers have provided along the way.
Our year 11 students are also awaiting to enter their final twelve months of schooling, having completed their end of semester exams last week and about to begin their orientation into year 12 this week. They will be given preparation tasks to complete over the January break and it is essential that they begin these tasks with energy and commitment to ensure they have a successful start into 2025. They should read their English texts at least once and commit to beginning the year strongly.
Their study camp at the start of 2025 will be an opportunity to consolidate their plans to successfully complete their VCE. Thank you to Ms Brittingham for organising the arrangements for the Study Camp. Looking forward to our final year 11 assembly this Thursday and the year 7 -11 Presentation Evening on the 18th of December to celebrate the achievements of our hard-working students.
Best wishes,
Laura Forster
