Year 7 Boys State Baseball 

Congratulations to the Year 7 Boys Baseball team who recently competed at the State Championships in Cheltenham. After finishing 2nd in the Region, the boys were invited to compete due to other regions not entering a team. Thanks to School Sport Victoria for inviting us to play.  

We played Montmorency first up and managed to fight out a close win by 1 run after 2 innings. Let's just say the boys were up and about after the win! After that we went on to lose against Alkira and Strathmore, who are two very strong baseball schools with plenty of talented players. 

A special thankyou to all the parents, grandparents and others who supported the boys throughout the day. I am extremely appreciative of your help and support. To go from having majority of the team not knowing any rules of baseball to winning a game at State is a great achievement and one I am proud of, it was great to see the growth of all of our players and watching them improve each game we played. I am looking forward to seeing what we can do next year!

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Kos, who has been selected for the Dandenong Valley State Titles Netball Team for 2025!
