Year -1/2 Unit

Wow, what a year we've had in the 1/2!

This week in Writing the students have been finalising their Christmas stories and are looking forward to showing the parents when they come in next week. They have also been busy finishing off their stop-motion narratives, which are looking fabulous! The students took photos of characters and backgrounds and then added music and sound effects. Just a reminder that the classrooms will be open on Tuesday at 2:45pm for parents/families to come and have a look. 

In Maths this week we have been revising our times tables and playing math games to build their numeracy skills.

Transition day on Tuesday was a big success and the students were super excited to meet their teacher for 2025.

As things start to wrap up for the year, we ask for any library books or readers to return to the school so we can start getting ready for the new year. We also ask if the students can bring in a bag to take home their workbooks.
