Main Campus - Year 4

Last week saw our Year 4’s travel to Phillip Island for our camp. We had such an amazing time! We visited lots of different places including the Botanical Gardens at Cranbourne, Churchill Island, the Koala Sanctuary, the Penguin Parade and we even enjoyed a paddle at Cowes Beach!

A brilliant time was also had on site completing activities including a giant swing, flying fox, archery, rock climbing, go karts and trampolining. The children tackled their activities and tasks with resilience and bravery.

A highlight of our trip was the Shearwater experience at Cape Woolamai, where we were incredibly privileged to witness the adult Shearwater birds return from the sea to their nesting chicks. The night then became extra special, as we were treated to a view of the bioluminescent algae in the crashing waves as we made our way back to the bus via torchlight. It was a truly magical and unforgettable experience!

The students displayed a very high standard of behaviour, and we are all incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Special thanks also to our team of helpers, our parent volunteers and staff, who were simply brilliant.
