WPS Community Children’s Garden

To prepare our garden for the summer heat we have spread pea straw mulch around our plants to help prevent evaporation of water from the soil. After a bit of weeding, we delighted in picking and eating raspberries and broad beans, which were delicious!

Helpers needed - Garden Produce Stall at End of Year Picnic

All the tropical weather has produced a bounty of tasty fresh food in the garden. As we did last year, we’re planning a garden produce stall for the end of year picnic on the school oval (1.30 Fri 20 Dec). If anyone would like to help pick and prepare the food or work on the stall, please send me a text.

Otherwise, come along and buy some school grown garden goodies. All proceeds towards ensuring Garden Club can continue.
