Mrs Andrew -

Head of Boarding

It has been a pleasure to welcome our boarders back to Kambala after the holidays, and I’m delighted to share that we’ve had a vibrant and energetic start to the term.

We have extended a warm welcome to our new boarder Cloris who joins our year 9 cohort. We are also excited to have our two new GAP students, Diana and Isabella, join the Kambala Boarding community. They’ve already begun to form lovely connections with the girls and we’re thrilled to have them as part of our team.

On the first Sunday back, the girls, Ms O’Brien and I enjoyed a fantastic day out, a relaxing coffee stop at Starbucks was followed by a challenging and fun team experience at Paniq Escape Room. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the thrilling Thunder Jet ride across Sydney Harbour – lots of laughter, a few soaked clothes, and many wonderful memories made!

We have also held our Term 3 Formal Dinner, a special evening with our guest of honour, Ms Danvers. The dinner was a lovely occasion to celebrate our community, reflect on achievements, and enjoy being together in a more formal setting.

Overall, the girls have returned in high spirits. They are settled, happy, and – most importantly – supporting one another beautifully. The sense of camaraderie and kindness in the Boarding House is strong, and we are looking forward to all that this term holds.
