Let's THRIVE in 2025
On Tuesday the "Weather God" shone down on us and we had the most wonderful morning up at the Box Hill Aths Track. We held our annual Athletics Training/Trial Day at the Box Hill Athletics track in preparation for the Nth Balwyn District Athletics which will be held on Wednesday 3rd September.
This day was for our Grade 3-6 students.
The children travelled to and from the Box Hill Athletics Track by bus and had a great opportunity to try out for both track and field events in their age groups 9/10 years, 11years and 12/13years.
Thank you to all teachers and our wonderful parent helper Gerry!
We are excited about attending the Year 3/4 DISTRICT Soccer 7s Round Robin on
Friday 8th August 9.30 - 2.30 at Hislop Park. 9-12 per team with 7 players on pitch at any given time.
All players should have shinguards
We have 4 of our enthusiastic Year 6 leaders that play soccer that will umpire and coach on the day.
FOOTY COLOURS DAY IS BACK for 2025
We have registered for Fight Cancer Foundation’s Footy Colours Day, to help Aussie kids kick cancer!
Footy Colours Day is becoming a much loved tradition at OHR. It’s such a great way to get students on board with helping other kids, and understanding the impact they can have on others — not to mention it’s an excuse for our students to break the dress code by wearing their teams’ colours!
The fight against cancer can mean more than six months far from home, school and friends. It’s heartbreaking to think a child may have to face that alone, but our school’s fundraising will help give Aussie families a home away from home, close to where they are being treated.
Our Footy Colours Day is on the last day of Term 3:
