InitiaLit & OCHRE Literacy/English Parent Observation Sessions 

We would like to sincerely thank all the parents and carers who joined us for our recent InitiaLit (F–2) and OCHRE Literacy/English (3–6) Parent Observation Sessions. These sessions were part of our celebration of six months of Magnify and our ongoing commitment to strengthening literacy learning across our school. 

Families had the opportunity to see first-hand how evidence-based programs are delivered in the classroom and to gain a deeper understanding of the strategies students use to develop skills in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and comprehension. 

We greatly appreciate your attendance and the valuable conversations that followed. Together, we continue to build strong partnerships that support every child’s learning journey. 

For our Grade 4 families, a new date and time will be arranged early next term so you too can take part in this valuable opportunity. 

Final Parent Session with Dr Jared Cooney Horvath – A Tour Through Your Child's Brain 

As part of our ongoing partnership with world-renowned educational neuroscientist Dr Jared Cooney Horvath, we warmly remind families of our final parent session taking place this week. 

📅 Friday 12th Septem

🕘 9:00–9:45am or 2:00–2:45pm 

In this engaging presentation, Dr Horvath will guide parents through the fascinating workings of a child’s brain, offering practical and research-based insights into how children learn, remember, and thrive. This session will equip families with strategies to better support learning at home while strengthening the vital partnership between school and home. 

We encourage all parents and carers to take part in this valuable learning opportunity.
