🧔 Year 3 Resilience Lesson: Practising Gratitude in the Present

Ā

This week, our Year 3 students took part in a special Resilience Project lesson focused on gratitude. The aim was to help students understand the difference between being grateful for things in the past and appreciating what we have in the present moment.

Ā

To bring this learning to life, students danced around the room to music—and when the music stopped, they turned to the person in front of them and shared something they were grateful for about that person. It was a joyful and heartwarming experience that helped students recognise the value of kindness and connection.

Ā

Students also explored how practising gratitude helps develop a more positive and optimistic mindset.Ā

Ā

Learning to pause and appreciate the present is a powerful tool for building emotional strength, and our students are learning just how impactful this habit can be.

Ā

We’re so proud of their thoughtful reflections and the way they celebrated each other during this lesson. šŸ’›
