We are learning to solve problems involving money. 


VOCABULARY

Rounding: Changing a number to a more convenient value e.g $1.99 would round up to $2.00. 

 

Cents: A unit of money equal to one hundredth of the base currency unit. 100 cents = 1 dollar.  

 

Change: The money returned after paying for something.
