ALL WELCOME – WORSHIP AT ST PAUL

Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday morning for worship. Worship times are 8:30am for a Traditional Service and 10:00am for a more Contemporary service with Godly Play on offer for primary school aged children. Tea and Coffee and a time of gathering is held most weeks after both worship services. On the first Sunday of the month, we join together in one service, with a blended style of worship.

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Playgroup @ St Paul is on each Tuesday during term time in the Hall for children aged 0-5 and a parent/caregiver.  Playgroup runs from 9:00-10:30am, but we welcome people anytime from 8:30am onwards to help set up. Join us for a coffee, playtime, story time and songs from 9:00-10:30am each week during school terms. Cost is $2 per family.

This week, we made crab crafts using pool noodles, pipe cleaners and, of course, googly eyes at the craft table, played in the sand in the sensory play space and read the book ‘Clumsy Crab’ by Ruth Galloway.

Next week we will be looking at koalas with the lift-the-flap book ‘Koala’s Big Day Out’ by Roger Priddy.

For more information about anything playgroup related contact Kylie Koelman in the Church Office on 8262 4690 or email at office@stpaul-church.org.au

GROWING FAITH AT HOME

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

This week, the Bible reading is the story of how Jesus used the lunch of a small boy, five loaves of bread and two fish, to feed a crowd of over 5000 people.  God used this lunch to feed the hunger of many people and provides for the needs of his people. In what ways might God be seeking, to use you or what you have, to bring help to others?

“You open your hand and satisfy the needs of every living creature.”  (Psalm 145:16)

Mealtime Prayer: Lord Jesus, bless the food upon our dishes, as you did the loaves and

fishes. By your grace we breathe and live, accept our thanks for all you give. Amen.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for taking care of us – body, spirit and soul. Amen.

Blessing: (Child’s name) May God who provides for your every need give you a grateful heart.  Amen.

PASTY BAKES

Pasties are back for Term 3, with the next bake this Thursday 25 July.  Pasties are $15 for a half dozen. Put your order through to Renate on 0405 433 030 or contact Kylie in the Church Office on 8262 4690 or office@stpaul-church.org.au to arrange payments and pick up. Funds raised go towards the ministry and mission of St Paul Lutheran Church.
