This week we showcase our amazing 3/4s

We have been learning to say the days of the week orally using simple

actions to guide our learning.

We have been introduced to the days of the week using phrases and practicing the sentences through a game.

We have learnt to say:

Oggi e’ lunedì (Today is Monday)

Domani e’ martedì (Tomorrow is Tuesday)

and

Ieri era domenica (yesterday was Sunday).

We will now discuss the origins of the days of the week and how they derive from the planets.

Example: Lunedì is il giorno della luna (the day of the Moon).
