Join us to celebrate National Tree Day 2024 this Sunday 28/7/24 from 9am to 3pm. Bring
your friends and family for a tree planting day at Burndap Park along the Maribyrnong River. We aim to plant 4,000 native seedlings along the Maribyrnong River to help increase our wildlife corridor. The event will commence with a Welcome to Country by First Nations Elders in honour of the rich Indigenous heritage of the Maribyrnong area. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a Wild Action wildlife show, learning about the diverse range of animals that call Maribyrnong home. The Lions Club will provide a BBQ lunch, and a coffee cart will be available, offering free coffee to keep participants energised throughout the day. There will also be free face painting available for the little wildlife warriors.
